Is this oil unhealthy? Please settle a bet...?

any oil is fattening, but some are healthier than others. you are correct in saying unsaturated fats are healthiers. for an example, beef is very high in saturated fat, but if you cook it with a little unsaturated oil, it cuts the grease by up to 30 percent. so in answer to your question, all oil is fattening, but when used in moderation, there is no need to worry about clogged arteries or heart attacks. just be careful with how much you use. for a stir fry, there should be no more than 1- 1 /2 tablespoons per skillet of stir fry. hope this helped.
