For those who have read Macbeth and also The Razor's Edge by William Somerset Maugham...?

My english exam is tomorrow and we know ahead of time what the essay question will basically be: what are the similarities/commonalities between Macbeth and Larry Darrell. It's worth 15 marks and I can't really think of anything, maybe you could help me out? :)
