Ideas for a great makeover?

ok im wanting to give myself a mini makeover. Origanlly i have long curly black hair. So, ive cut it to about my , and dyed it light ash brown. But i just dont feel like a big change, you know, i really want a wow! makeover. Any ideas? im half black and half italian, so hopefully that helps paint a picture of my skin tone lol. any new idas would be great!
