Do you feel that America is making some great changes concerning racism?
I am feeling very optimistic about racism in America. There are quite a number of whites, of course along with other races, who have vote for Barack Obama, and I have never been so proud to be an American. Considering how the past once were, during this election with Barack Obama almost our first African-American nominee, it says so much about how things are changing. At first, I thought to myself, and so have many others that I talked with, that I felt like a lot of White Americans wouldn't care how much this African-American man want to make great changes and unite Americans, that many white Americans would not vote for him, no matter how troubling the economy has gotten. As I watched the election move on, I was so overjoyed that many White Americans do not care about the color of a person skin, but wanted changes. I am very proud of my white brother and sisters, and also those of you of other nationalities. Do you feel that America is changing where racism is concern?
