Question about Magic the Gathering.?

Once any permanent leaves the stack its no longer a spell. Tokens are creature permanents produced by card's effects. If the token is produced by a spell(i.e. Chatter of the Squirrel, ter The Seeds, Sprout Swarm, etc) the token enters the battlefield upon resolution of the spell. If the token is produced by a permanent's triggered or activated ability(i.e. Sarkhan The Mad, Hunted Dragon, Selesnya Guildmage, etc) the token enters the battlefield upon the ability's resolution. In short, tokens are not spells but are produced through resolved spells or abilities.
